A Mom

A Mom is a warm hug on a cold rainy day.

A Mom is a shopping buddy.

A Mom is a teacher, giving lessons from coupon clipping to cooking.

A Mom is a provider.

A Mom is not afraid to tell you the truth.

A Mom is protective.

A Mom is your biggest fan, from volleyball games to college entrance exams.

A Mom fearlessly squashes cockroaches.

A Mom quiets your tears when you realize that you forgot to put sugar in your nearly fully baked jelly rolls.

A Mom does funny polka dances in the middle of amusement parks.

A Mom teaches you how to sew.

A Mom is strong.

A Mom introduces you to a library for the first time.

A Mom encourages you to dream.

A Mom let's her daughter go when she wants to chase the world.

A Mom welcomes her daughter when the world leaves her behind.

A Mom laughs at your jokes at the dinner table.

A Mom skips out on New Year's Eve parties just to be with her children.

A Mom asks for little but gives a lot.

A Mom paints your nails when you're too impatient to do it yourself.

A Mom bounces on pillows with you when you are a just a tot.

A Mom teaches you how to love.

A Mom seals in good habits and chases out bad habits.

A Mom uses sign language for  "I love you" when you are on the bus.

A Mom demands that you wear earrings, lip gloss, and mascara regardless of how you feel.

A Mom yells "Herro" in a store and does not care about the strange looks on passerby's faces.

Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful Mama who has taught me so much.

I am looking forward to more adventures with you.
